Celebrating its 22nd birthday this year, North by Northeast (NXNE) returns to Toronto with a lineup of music, conferences and e-Sports events.  With a recent change in format, NXNE now offers it's content across 4 different series of events: Port Lands, Club Land, Game Land, and Future Land.

Montreal-based DJ and Producer KAYTRANADA has been making waves ever since he dropped his very first remix on SoundCloud.  With a catalogue that includes EPs, mixtapes, countless remixes and a Polaris Music Prize winning debut album, KAYTRANADA continues to please with his eclectic mix of sounds. Headlining Saturday night at Port Lands, it's sure to be a massive dance party. 

John River

Mississauga rapper John River has steadily built up a following ever since he dropped his first mixtape in 2012. Wearing his city on his back, River aspires to not only make it big in the rap game, but use hip hop as a springboard to positively impact his community as well. Be sure to check out his show on Saturday, June 24 at Port Lands.

Max Melanin

Scarborough beat smith Max Melanin serves up an eclectic mix of samples, loops, drums and vibes, all culminating in a guaranteed chill experience. Check Max out on Day 3 of the Club Land Curator series, at the Baby G. 

Adrian Underhill

Toronto-based, with roots in East Vancouver, Adrian Underhill writes smooth pop jams that you can nod your head and groove to. Check out his set on Day 1 of Club Land, at the Baby G. 

Lost Cousins

Hailing from Kingston, ON, where they all met as students, Lost Cousins got their start playing basements and house shows, making a name for themselves with their high-energy shows. Dreamy synths, delay tinged guitars, and reverb drenched gang vocals blend together to form their psychedelic sound. Check out Lost Cousins on June 25 at Port Lands.
