This week on The Scope News: Canadians affected by Irma and a remembrance of the terror attacks on New York 16 years ago. And with TIFF on in Toronto, we revisit our interview with Naima Sundiata on her experiences as an actress of colour. We also spoke to an original member of the Caribbean Cultural Committee, credited with starting the first Caribana festival. And we have our interview with Phil Cote, an artist of Shawnee, Lakota, Potawatomi and Ojibway decent who just finished his latest project -- a collection of murals across Toronto.
