CJRU reporter Nicole Di Donato sits down with Native Producer and DJ Crew A Tribe Called Red to talk about their music, their album We Are The Halluci Nation and their show at Ryerson University on June 1 for Congress 2017.

The group, which is comprised of DJ NDN, Bear Witness and 2oolman, mixes traditional pow wow vocals and drumming with cutting-edge electronic music.

This year, they won the Juno Award for “Producer of the Year” for their songs “R.E.D.” featuring Yasiin Bey, Narcy & Black Bear and “Sila” featuring Tanya Tagaq off their album We Are The Halluci Nation.
